Riverside regattas
Riverside Boat Club hosts a number of events throughout the year. The events encourage community engagement, support participation in sport at all ages, and promote healthy, active lifestyles.
Cromwell Cup Regatta
Hosted by Riverside Boat Club, Cambridge, MA
The Cromwell Cup Regatta is an annual event hosted by Riverside Boat Club on the Charles River in Boston, MA. This is a 1,000 meter race from Weeks Bridge to the banks of the Riverside Boat Club (RBC). Named after RBC member and 1964 Olympian Seymour Cromwell, Cromwell Cup is the largest summer regatta held on the Charles River. Attracting 600+ rowers of all ages and skill levels, this regatta is run entirely by RBC volunteers.
Inter-club races
Riverside Boat Club hosts several informal regattas that RBC members participate in. These regattas provide an avenue for athletes to practice racing, have fun, and/or measure their progress leading up to races. Members from other boat clubs are welcome to join if approved by the race director.
