The Riverside Juniors program is a four-season program focused on sculling. We welcome high school athletes during the summer, fall, winter, and spring seasons. Coaches focus on improving the technical skills, physical fitness, and mental tactics of athletes. We are committed to building the abilities of all of our athletes with an emphasis on safety, fun, and team camaraderie.

NOW ACCEPTING WINTER APPLICATIONS! APPLY TODAY!

The winter session will run from mid-December to mid-March. The exact schedule is TBD. Applications are due by December 7th or until the program is full (16 athletes max). U17s and Girls need only apply. Ideally, athletes will continue on into the spring season in which sculling experience is not required, but preferred.

Our winter program provides 2 levels of involvement: 3 days per week or 6 days per week. If an athlete chooses the 3 day program, they will be able to pick which days of the week to show up but cannot show up more than 3 days in a given week. Membership dues are $2,000* for 6-days/week or $1000* for 3-days/week and are due after the applicant is accepted (before the start of the program).

*Regatta fees are not included in membership dues and will be an additional charge determined at a later date before the start of the season.

Our coach

Libby Lichter has been a Riverside member since July 2021. In their time, Libby has contributed to the club as treasurer of the women's sweeps team and as a member of the DEI committee. While at Tufts University, they studied biology as well as child study and human development. When not on the water, Libby enjoys spending time in Deerfield, Ma with their dog, Sir Steven Redgrave.
