The Cromwell Cup Regatta is an annual event hosted by Riverside Boat Club on the Charles River in Boston, MA. This is a 1,000 meter race from Weeks Bridge to the banks of the Riverside Boat Club (RBC). Named after RBC member and 1964 Olympian Seymour Cromwell, Cromwell Cup is the largest summer regatta held on the Charles River. Attracting rowers of all ages and skill levels, this regatta is run entirely by RBC volunteers. In 2015, we hosted rowers from over 45 clubs and representing 10 states. Riverside’s goal by hosting this regatta is to encourage friendly competition on the Charles River, build awareness of rowing in the Boston/Cambridge community, and more.
